LIFE … does not begin at birth (a concept promoted by man); life begins at the moment of conception (as evidenced by numerous accounts in the Bible). But rather than invite contention or argument, let me share that what believe about the beginning of life doesn’t change facts. God said there was life in the womb. If you choose to argue with God, be my guest.
To illustrate the issues that we face in this life,
we will attempt to share a picture as means of addressing issues that seem to
divide us in America today. Issues that need to be disclosed, discussed, and
dealt with, before God decides to judge this earth again, like he did in the
days of Noah.
COMPANION PICTURE SEPARATE >>>>
At the moment of conception, life begins. The DNA of the male and the female partners impart the characteristics to the embryo. It is dwelling in darkness, cannot see, and is not seen or even detectable at this instant. Like America as shown in the picture. Before 1492 when Columbus first put foot on this soil, it existed. It supported life, but it was not known about, and its characteristics would be developed over years of habitation.
Just as this earth was created IN THE BEGINNING and
was without form, so is this embryo. But as the story of creation shares day by
day (distinct periods of time) the various living creatures that we know about
were created. In a similar manner, medial researchers can tell the stages of
development when the features of the human body are formed. Such as when heart
function begins, when movement starts, or when the living being begins to
respond to external impetus (the mother’s voice, or music. With the ultrasound,
the sex of the baby can be determined shortly after the 3rd month. Moreover,
during the growth period, the pediatrician monitors heart rate, growth, and the
biological development. None of this could be known if there were no life to
monitor.
All life was created for God’s purpose and God’s pleasure.
We as creatures are not born to privilege or depravity, we are all born to
serve God. No matter what our background or heritage, we all have equal
opportunity. Unfortunately, the very presence of opportunity mandates choice.
And every circumstance is inherent in choice whether to our liking, or to our
displeasure.
We hear so much about the woman’s right to choose,
and we do not disagree she has the ability to make a choice. As to rights, she
will take that up with God in the judgment if she makes the wrong choice. There
is no question based on Biblical teaching, HELL is a real place. And HELL is a
sure destiny for those who choose to exercise choice on the basis of the pride
of life (JN 2:15-17).
Let me be clear at this early phase of this journey,
this is not intended to be a dialog based on Religion. Religion is one of the
disastrous results of choice, and unfortunately many denominationalists will
bombard HELL by reason of their choice, on the basis of pride of life.
This initiative is intended to promote spiritual fellowship with THE
CREATOR, and with the special category of his creatures called humanity, and in
all interpersonal relationships while on this earth.
While we are deliberating the gestation period for
human life, let’s be clear as to the Biblical examples set before us.
No one is entitled to anything, Paul shared in
Romans 3:23, For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God … and
the word ALL is not subject to personal interpretation. Then in Romans 10:12,
Paul shared, … there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek … and
based on Biblical History we need to believe that there are only two categories
of people in the world.
The Jews represent those that God has chosen, and
the Greeks represent the rest of the world. Bringing that concept forward to
the New Testament era, there are still only two categories of people in the
world today, those that have accepted the finished work of God’s Son, Jesus
Christ as sufficient for their redemption; and those that have chosen not to
accept such. In other words, the only place in this earth that is level ground
spiritually, is at the foot of the cross.
It is natural for parents to make plans for the
expected child, but they are amiss if their plans are not in agreement with the
will of God, as set forth in the Word of God, shared by 40 authors
over more than 1500 years, to inform the people of God.
Somehow, we must heighten the awareness that no one
is born into entitlement, no one deserves anything, and no one is under any
obligation to a newborn, or throughout that newborn’s life.
The Biblical instruction is given in Proverbs 22:6, train
up a child …! Moreover, in the New Testament, we read that a child is no
different than a slave until the time set by the father, although he owns
(is heir to) everything.
The training implied here is life skills, and
through the maturing process, the child must earn trust and respect through
choosing to be respectful and obedient. I take comfort in sharing this
instruction in this manner, because it is the message given by God, I am merely
a messenger.
As I write, we are struggling with the issue of
wearing a mask because of the coronavirus pandemic. Those opposing masking up
claim they don’t feel like it, but in the words of Dr. Tony Evans, when
his son said, I don’t feel like taking the trash out, to that, Dr. Evens said,
son, I know how to change the way you feel.
I submit from my life experience, God will never
make us do anything we do not want to do, but God can make us wish we had.
Please help heighten the awareness of our national
need for unity, keep in touch on this site, and recommend it to friends and
family.
Yours in His Service,
To promote civil unity,
Mel
